CHICAGO, IL, February 5, 2012 -- Anime Central is proud to announce that LM.C will be Guests of Honor and performing at Anime Central's 15th Anniversary Celebration! The Japanese visual kei "electrock" band will kick off their 2012 world tour with a guest appearance at Anime Central in Rosemont, IL April 27-29, 2012. Aside from LM.C's concert performance, members maya and Aiji will be available for Q&A and autograph sessions over the course of the celebration weekend.

About LM.C:
LM.C debuted on October, 2006 as a rock unit made up of maya (Vocals) and Aiji (Guitar). Mixture, digi-rock, HIPHOP-like… their variety of pop and catchy sounds cannot be categorized easily and they do not confine themselves to the conventions of "visual-kei."

Their areas of activity are not only within Japan, but also other Asian nations like Taiwan, Korea. LM.C went on to conduct a nationwide tour as the buzz surrounding their growing popularity and entertaining live shows travelled to other parts of Asia, leading to them to perform at Taiwan's largest rock festival "FORMOZ FESTIVAL" in 2007. They continued on their road to success in Asia with tours in Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Hong Kong in following years.

Two years after their debut, their 8th single, "88," was released and climbed to Number 3 on the weekly ORICON charts. The unit has been acclaimed as the "most attention-grabbing J-ROCK band" among J-Rock fans in Europe, a territory where they had yet to release any of their music. In the year of 2009 and the following year of 2010, the unit embarked on their world tour two times throughout South America, Europe, and Asia, crossing 13 countries (Chile, Brazil, UK, Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Hungry, Russia, Taiwan, Korea). LM.C's catchy melodies and colorful music have traveled across oceans and borders and have been met with people all over the world chanting their choruses in full Japanese, demonstrating how LM.C has surpassed language barriers and stolen the hearts of tens of thousands of loyal fans worldwide. LM.C has grown as artists, performers, and international pop-icons. In July, 2009, the first album "GIMMICAL☆ IMPACT!!" won the "BEST ALBUM AWARD" at JAPAN EXPO AWARDS 2009, the world largest Japan cultural event annually held in Paris, France.

In April, 2011, LM.C performed their one-man concert at the Hibiya Open-air Concert Hall for the second time. Following October, the best album "☆ ★ Best the LM.C ★ ☆ 2006-2011 SINGLES" was released in commemoration of the band's 5th year anniversary; then on January 8th, 2012, over 8,000 fans gathered to the tour final at the Japan's legendary venue, "Nippon Budokan" and the band's very first Budokan concert was successfully finished.

The year of 2012, LM.C has already announced their new releases and the long-awaited world tour "LM.C LIVE TOUR 2012 –STRONG POP- world tour" starting in this coming spring. Surely, the band's first original album release and first world tour in 2 years make their worldwide royal fans go crazy for LM.C again!!

LM.C NEVER STOPS EVEN FOR A MOMENT!!
